The head, body and reservoir of our shock are treated with Kashima® anodization. This treatment aims to protect your shock from all external attacks, but also to reduce considerably all friction.  18mm Chromadur rainbow rod Bos Suspension uses for the manufacturing of its FACTORY shock absorber range a Rainbow treatment for the 18mm diameter rod. This treatment is exclusive to Bos Suspension, it improves the resistance to wear and considerably extends its life. The Rainbow treatment aims to dramatically reduce friction. That's why our shock absorber feet are machined from OAS anodized aluminum. They receive an anodization treatment that gives them a better resistance to wear, corrosion and heat. OAS aluminum has specific characteristics that naturally absorb micro vibrations. It is thanks to the combination of all these details that we can offer you shock absorbers with unequalled performance.  Light Spring Every component of our Factory range is important! That's why we use high quality, high capacity, lightweight steel springs. These springs undergo an advanced manufacturing process to withstand even higher stresses. These springs have up to 40% less mass than standard springs, which results in significant weight savings without compromising the strength and rigidity of the spring.
